“Empowering women through advocacy and education”

Tuesday, April 9, 2013 – OK State Capitol and Judicial Building, Oklahoma City

We are excited to introduce a new format to our annual advocacy day. We will visit the Capitol in the afternoon and then gather for a special reception with legislators at the Judicial Building.

Please join us at the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition 5th annual Advocacy Day on Tuesday, April 9. This OneVoice event provides a great opportunity to network with others with common interests while being empowered to advocate on important women’s and girls’ issues.

We will start at the state Capitol, gathering at the 3rd Floor Balcony at 2:00 p.m., and then visiting with legislators. After having the opportunity to have a voice on a number of issues including human trafficking, domestic violence, and women’s health/wellness, we will go across the street to the Oklahoma Judicial Center for an early evening reception.  Details of the event are listed below:

2:00 – 4:30 p.m. – 3rd Floor Balcony, state Capitol building, 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd.

4:30 – 6:00 p.m. – Oklahoma Judicial Center, the Great Room, 2100 N. Lincoln Blvd
